Glasgow Canal Co-op in celebration of the Commonwealth Games being held in Glasgow 2026 will host a free community event with various activities held along the Forth and Clyde Canal. As part of the event, Pinkston are offering free watersports and bushcraft sessions to children ages 7 – 16 years.

Serious Fun Kayaking Club! From £2.00

Pinkston Watersports’ new kayaking club offers weekly sessions for young people in Glasgow April through October, teaching kayaking in a fun, safe environment. Monthly themes include kayak polo, rolling, water confidence, and rescue skills, with opportunities for white-water paddling. The club focuses on building skills, confidence, and community through enjoyable learning.

Paddleboarding – 3 Week Progression sessions – Adults From £98.60

Three-week paddleboarding course at Pinkston for beginners to build confidence on lochs or rivers. Learn essential skills, safety, and enjoy fun challenges with professional instructors. Includes equipment and facilities. Suitable for ages 16+. Attend weekly sessions; all abilities welcome, even non-swimmers.
