restrictions: This session is suitable for competent swimmers over the age of 12.
Our water is not too deep with someone around 5ft 5β still able to stand on the bottom β this means that you donβt need to be a very strong swimmer to participate but, as this is a non-coached session without buoyancy aids, you should still be water confident.
If you have any concerns, please get in touch via the contact details in our FQAs section.

A : No, this is your personal choice but please be aware of water temperatures and your own limits in the water
Q : Can I hire a wetsuit?
A : No, we currently don’t have any to hire as we provide wetsuits to our paddlesport clients. We can occasionally can help the odd swimmer out for a one off swim but this is dependent on what other sessions running that day and cannot be guaranteed.

A : Yes, we have a free to use carpark with more free street parking available on Boron Street (road directly up the hill from the main gates)
Q : Are there showers and hair dyers?
A : We have changing facilities with hot showers but no hair dyers. We do have outside plugs if you wish to bring your own.
Q : How cold is the water?
A : This changes from day to day as it is an outdoor unheated (but filtered!) pool. But probably cold tbh – know your limits especially in winter!
Q : Is there a coffee machine?
