By working with existing community clubs and leaders, local young people have the opportunity to get involved at Pinkston and learn new skills.
We aim to make paddlesports affordable to community groups and have a reduced pricing structure for sessions delivered to schools and constituted community groups. We can design courses and sessions around the aims and objectives of your group and can do anything from a one-off taster session to a 12-week SCQF level 5 course for older school groups, with paddle power courses in between. We can also offer opportunities to train workers up to bring groups to Pinkston which can further bring down the financial barriers to accessing paddlesports.
We work in partnership with other organizations and aim to attract grant funding to enable us to offer low and no-cost opportunities to young people from North Glasgow.
In 2021, Pinkston secured funding that will allow us to deliver sessions and activity camps at a greatly reduced cost to children from North West and North East Glasgow. Follow this link for more info and to book:
