You will then move on to your swim and sauna session under the watch of Lisa (@happy.andwild), who is a qualified Open Water Swim Coach. Lisa brings the fun with a capital F to our cold water immersion and sauna sessions!
Next is a break to reset. We have hot showers in our changing rooms to help warm up after your cold water swim. This is your time to relax, chat to your fellow festival goers, and enjoy a nice cup of herbal tea (breakfast tea or coffee also available!) before we head out into the woods to try some wood whittling!
The day will finish round a campfire in our woods learning the basics of wood whittling! Our instructors will lead you through your first creation – a wooden mushroom that you can take home as a mento!

Restrictions
This activity is for adults only. Our water is not too deep with someone around 5ft 5 still able to stand on the bottom β this means that you donβt need to be a very strong swimmer to participate but, as this is a session without buoyancy aids, you should still be water confident.
If you have any concerns, please get in touch via the contact details in our FQAs section.
Disclaimers
Unfortunately this activity cannot take part in windy conditions and all customers will be refunded should this happen on the day.
FAQs
Q : Is there car parking?
A : Yes, we have a free to use carpark with more free street parking on Boron Street (road directly up the hill from the main gates)
Q : Are there showers and hair dyers?
A : We have changing facilities with hot showers but no hair dyers. We do have outside plugs if you wish to bring your own.
Q : How cold is the water?
A : This changes from day to day as it is an outdoor unheated (but filtered!) pool. But probably cold to be honest – know your limits especially in winter!
Q : Do I need a wetsuit?
A : To get the full experience of cold water swimming and sauna we do not recommend wearing a wetsuit and instead suggest fully embracing the cold! If you would prefer to wear a wetsuit that it totally up to you
