Get ready for the ultimate summer splash session at Pinkston’s Kidz Splash Zone!
This is a kids only watersports session to give them the chance to have fun in the water, play games, be active and build up their water confidence. Fun (as well as safety!) are at the centre of Splash Zone. Think of it as a bit like party but with no set guest list and no special occasion to celebrate – just come along if you would like to have a good time playing in the water!
We have a verity of fun watersports to try, and ask the group what they are most keen to give a go! This typically means paddleboarding (SUP) which is super fun and adaptable – and make perfect jumping off platform and slides! We have a verity of sizes of boards from smaller ones designed for children to GIANT ones that groups can paddle together or race. Kayaking and raftbuilding are also great options to try – whatever craft you chose, the important thing is FUN!

FAQs
Q : Is there car parking?
A : Yes, we have a free to use carpark with more free street parking on Boron Street (road directly up the hill from the main gates)
Q : Are there showers and hair dyers?
A : We have changing facilities with hot showers but no hair dyers. We do have outside plugs if you wish to bring your own.
Q : How cold is the water?
A : This changes from day to day as it is an outdoor unheated (but filtered!) pool. But probably cold tbh – know your limits especially in winter!
Q : Do I need to wear a wetsuit or buoyancy aid?
A : While both wetsuits and buoyancy aids are provided only buoyancy aids must be worn. You may prefer/be more conformable in a tshirt and shorts than a wetsuit however you are much more likely to get cold even in warmer weather. Please be aware of your limits in cold water.
Q : Is there a coffee machine?
A : No, bring your own flask if you would like a hot drink for after!
