Pinkston is excited to launch our latest addition to activities and a new way of gaining access to Scotland’s only artificial whitewater course.

And even more excited to welcome comedians Gary Faulds and Gary Meikle along to find out more, they were accompanied by unsuspecting fan Darren MacLeod who had responded to a social media post only that morning.

Not for the faint hearted, this high adrenaline activity got them up close and personal with some full-on whitewater rapids.  Strong currents in an artificial course makes for an intense whitewater experience like nothing else you will find in Scotland.  We offer you extreme conditions in a safe and controlled environment.  Full safety equipment and experienced instruction provided mean that even those new to whitewater can experience the thrills it has to offer.

Start Kayaking – Taster Session – Adults

Our Start Kayaking sessions are all about getting you on the water and experiencing the joys of kayaking in a safe and fun way. These adult sessions are for anyone over the age of 16 who want to get on the water and learn the basics of kayaking with basic skills and challenges. We use our great sit on top kayaks meaning that we have the best platform for learning skills without the challenges or fears of ‘getting stuck’.

This session includes your British Canoeing Paddle Start Certificate.
