Vacancy Operations and Marketing Assistant

Pinkston is recruiting for an Operations and Marketing Assistant (Maternity Cover)

The main focus of this role is to promote a positive customer journey for those visiting and using the facility at Pinkston Watersports, as well as attracting new customers and marketing new and existing products and services.

You will be fun and friendly with a customer facing outlook and a passion for ensuring a high quality experience for all visitors.  You will also have a good understanding of customer engagement, and experience in generating sales and encouraging return custom.

An active engagement and understanding of paddlesports would be beneficial, but isn’t essential.  Pinkston is a close community of people with varied interests and motivations so engagement with this community and building an understanding of their different needs is also a key part of this role

Start Kayaking – Taster Session – Adults

Our Start Kayaking sessions are all about getting you on the water and experiencing the joys of kayaking in a safe and fun way. These adult sessions are for anyone over the age of 16 who want to get on the water and learn the basics of kayaking with basic skills and challenges. We use our great sit on top kayaks meaning that we have the best platform for learning skills without the challenges or fears of ‘getting stuck’.

This session includes your British Canoeing Paddle Start Certificate.
